IFRS: When exactly 1 monster with or less ATK is Special Summoned to your side of the field while your opponent controls a face-up monster: Your opponent chooses 1 face-up monster they control, you Special Summon all cards with the same name as the Summoned monster from your hand, Deck, and Graveyard in face-up Attack Position, also your opponent Special Summons all cards with the same name as the chosen monster from their hand, Deck, and Graveyard.

Spell Striker: You can remove from play 1 card from your graveyard to special summon this card. In my MP1 I special-summon either "Spell Striker" or "Jester Confit" from my hand and the other copies of my cards are either in my graveyard or my deck.

I don't understand why I can't activate the Inferno, is it because the opponent must have copies of the card they selected?

I thought I would've been able to use Inferno with cards like Giant Germ as well.. Thanks for reading.
