I just checked the model you ordered along with a couple of others and the delivery date offered under each varies and find it hard to conclude that, for the 20YJUS model you ordered, the offered delivery date has changed since you ordered because it is a system which has only very recently gone on sale.
I don't have a screenshot of the store page, but I have a screnshot of my OVP when it was still reasonable. I have also ordered a P1 Gen 4 but with a different configuration.
I can confirm my OVP also changed from delivery August 11 to delivery December 7, yet on the Lenovo website my configuration still shows business days. Phone support told me that the laptop is not in stock, possibly will be in by September. I am hoping that is not the case and the shipment arrives sooner. If not Lenovo needs to fix their website.
Its unacceptable to keep advertising business days when the wait could be much longer. Even if the shipment was delayed by the courier from arriving at the US fulfillment center from the factory it shouldn't take an additional month or months to arrive.
That suggests Lenovo never even had the units built before they started selling them and promising quick delivery. Wow, now the exact model is "back in stock shipping days" but my order is still delayed to December.
I just noticed that too. Now all the high end models say days and days for the others. Hopefully its a good sign and the laptops are actually arriving in stock. I have had multiple orders from Lenovo in the last year, with the exception of a replacement unit held up for other reasons all have shipped on time according to what the order page said. Any delay is Lenovo's fault for misrepresenting the shipping time.
