And in a juicy fun new tell-all interview with the Daily Mail , Angelea drills down on her claims and just how shitty an experience her three cycle's worth of time on Top Model turned out to be.
In what she describes as the " Top Model prison," Angelea alleges that days spent filming the show would last as long as 20 hours, with contestants routinely denied food and water — although really it's not like that is anything out of the ordinary in the world of legit modeling either. She also says producers deliberately "withheld" medical care during an anxiety attack she suffered so that they could make a dramatic scene out of the footage.
She explains the escort work which caused her disqualification — and it turns out she'd only taken up sex work after the infamy she'd gained from her first run on Top Model cycle 14 meant she couldn't find any other work. Though reports accompanying her filing the lawsuit last year noted that she'd worked as an escort for "about a year," she now says it was "a stupid decision that lasted a month.
